Dreams Do Come True ! The Bed and Breakfast on Tiffany Hill located in Mills River, NC, an elegant five bedroom, five bathroom inn, officially opened its doors to a house full of guests on June 5, 2009. This marks the culmination of a 25 year dream come true.
Owned by Selena Einwechter, the bed and breakfast (B&B) was a mere dream 25 years ago. After much planning and many steps to learn the business, she heavily pursued the dream ten years ago. Selena invested wisely, enlisted the help of family, friends and Dreambuilders (people who pre booked rooms for an inn that didn’t even exist) and at long last broke ground on the property in June 2008. It took just one year to complete.
Each month Mountain Pie Company features an outstanding woman from Henderson County, NC. Through these monthly features we hope that you will learn a little more about your friends and neighbors.
We proudly salute Selena Einwechter
Henderson County Outstanding March Woman
By pooling together her life savings and presales, and with unwavering determination, even after she was downsized from her years of service with Corporate America, she began construction on the B&B in 2008.

What inspired you to do what you do?
I’ve been dreaming of a bed & breakfast since I backpacked across Europe after college. I worked in corporate America for 31 years, but all along was in preparation for the B&B. When the opportune time came, I was ready with a business plan, floorplan, marketing plan and financial plan.
What are some of your valuable memories?
Innsitting! Before I changed the direction of my career, I wanted to make sure that this was something I truly enjoyed. So I apprenticed on weekends and then started innsitting for other owners when they needed to be out of town.
.
What do you do for fun? .
Other than living my dream, I enjoy hiking waterfalls and working with stained glass.
What is something I cannot live without?
My 2 minute commercial dishwasher!

Once you are sure of what you want to pursue, ask yourself what is the worst thing that could happen. My answer was growing old and looking back on my life and realizing that I didn’t try. Dream big…..then put one foot in front of the other toward the end result.
