What inspired you to do what you do?
My Mother and Father were the ones to originally inspired me.  Their love, dedication and support laid a firm foundation for what was to come in my life.  They provided the means and opportunity for me to be involved in the performing arts and my passion grew from that initial involvement.  I got my start early in life and my love for music has grown over the years.  I have desired to make music as well as to teach others.  If it were not for my family, I believe I never would have become the woman that I am today.

How can Henderson County better help small business?
It would be helpful if the residents of our county would consider local merchants before going out of town or shopping on the internet.  Our residents could also continue to encourage others to solicit their favorite places.

A lifelong musician with a heart for people, Jacki loves to make music come alive.  Her love for music brought her to the Boston area to study where she obtained a B.S. in Music Education from Eastern Nazarene College.  She holds certifications for grades K-9 and 6-12.  Jacki performs often and also enjoys teaching privately from her home.

From one concept to the next, learning music is like exploring a treasure map.  At the end of the journey, the music her students make is in fact the greatest treasure of all.
